Monthly equivalent
Monthly equivalent — The averaged per-month cost of a subscription, regardless of its cycle. Yearly subs are divided by 12, quarterly by 3.
Monthly equivalent is the way SubRemind expresses every subscription on the same monthly scale for fair comparison. A $120 yearly sub becomes $10 / month equivalent; a $30 quarterly sub becomes $10 / month equivalent. The category donut chart and the 'this month' stat use monthly equivalents. The projection chart, by contrast, uses real cycle behaviour so yearly renewals appear as a single spike, not a smooth average.
