Subscription

SubscriptionA recurring charge you pay on a fixed cycle (monthly, quarterly, or yearly) in exchange for ongoing access to a service.

A subscription is a payment arrangement where the customer is charged on a regular schedule for continuous access to a product or service. Unlike a one-time purchase, a subscription keeps charging until it is cancelled. Common examples are streaming media (Netflix, Spotify), software (Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Cloud), and cloud storage (iCloud, Google One). In SubRemind, every row in the subscriptions table represents one subscription with a price, currency, cycle, and next-billing date.
