How to cancel YouTube Premium

Step-by-step

  1. Open YouTube paid memberships

    Sign in to youtube.com on a browser and go to youtube.com/paid_memberships.

  2. Tap Manage membership

    Click Manage membership next to YouTube Premium.

  3. Choose Deactivate

    Click Deactivate, then confirm. YouTube shows your last Premium date.

What happens after you cancel

  • Downloaded videos for offline expire at the end of the billing period.
  • YouTube Music Premium ends at the same time if it was bundled.
  • Background play and ad-free viewing revert immediately at the cycle end.
