How to cancel Max (HBO)

Step-by-step
Open your Max account
Sign in at max.com on a browser, then tap your profile icon and choose Subscription.
Find your billing provider
Max shows whether you're billed directly or via a third party (Amazon, Roku, Apple, Google).
Cancel from the right place
If billed directly, click Manage Subscription → Cancel Subscription. If billed via a third party, follow the link to that provider — Max can't cancel external subscriptions.
What happens after you cancel
- Profile, watchlist, and history are kept in case you reactivate.
- No partial refund.
- Bundled subscriptions (e.g. Max via Amazon Prime add-on) cancel through the bundle provider.
