Audible offers retention deals (discounted months, pause options). Decline if you actually want to cancel, then confirm.
What happens after you cancel
- You keep audiobooks you've already purchased forever — they remain in your library.
- Unused credits expire 6 months after cancellation. Burn them on long audiobooks before cancelling.
- Audible Originals lose access immediately at the end of the billing period.
Don't get re-charged by mistake

Will I lose audiobooks I bought on Audible?
No. Purchased audiobooks are yours forever, accessible from the Audible app and on Kindle devices. You only lose access to Audible Originals (the included-with-membership ones) when the subscription ends.
Should I burn my credits before cancelling Audible?
Yes — credits expire 6 months after cancellation. Buy long audiobooks (Stephen King, fantasy series) with your credits before the cancellation date to maximise value.
