Where does this rate come from?
Rates come from open.er-api.com, a free public exchange-rate API. SubRemind fetches them once per hour and caches them through Next.js. They are indicative, not transactional — your bank or card processor may apply a different rate plus a fee.
Why does my subscription charge differ from this rate?
Card networks (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and merchants apply their own conversion logic, often including a 1–3% foreign-transaction fee. SubRemind shows you the indicative rate so you can compare; the exact charge on your statement may differ slightly.
Can I switch my SubRemind base currency to USD?
Yes. Go to Settings and pick USD as your base currency. Every subscription you've added stays in its native currency, but all aggregate stats (this month, this year, projection chart) recompute in USD.
